legislative Council

Some states have bi-cameral Legislature ( having two Houses). The six states having two Houses are Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. 

Legislative Council (vidhan Parishad) is a permanent body like the council of state (Rajya Sabha).
