Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The main islands are - North  Andaman,  Middle  Andaman, South Andaman, Little  Andaman,  Car Nicobar and Great Nicobar. Port Blair  is the  capital, Located  in South Andaman.

Barren Island, the only active  volcano  of India is situated in the  east of  Middle Andaman.  Narcondam Island (located I'm the north-eastern part of  North  Andaman)  is also  a volcanic island. These islands  are  also known  as the Emerald  Islands.
